When to use this workflow

Clear a burned-in camera-style date/time stamp from your own footage before reusing it.

Why this removal mode?

One 436 × 72 pixel box covers the full opaque OSD with a few pixels of margin, about 3.4% of the frame. The digits change every second but the box stays put, so a single fixed region is enough.

Result review

The opaque black OSD box and green CAM-03 time are gone in the reviewed frames. Soft out-of-focus lab tones continue through the region with no obvious box outline or residual digits at normal playback speed.

What this example cannot prove

The stamp sits over soft, out-of-focus lab background. This does not establish results when a stamp crosses faces, fine texture, or high-contrast edges.

No model version was returned by the public job response. One short clip cannot predict results for other footage. Check the full result at normal speed and around each word change.

Source and demonstration method

Solid opaque security-cam OSD added for this test with ffmpeg: a filled black 420×56 px box and DejaVu Sans Mono Bold 28 px green (0x33FF66) text reading CAM-03 plus a ticking HH:MM:SS clock. Licensed footage trimmed to 12 s and scaled to 1280 × 720 at 25 fps. The after video is the actual API result, without manual cleanup.
